Hey, A few weeks ago, I sent you a story about the Grateful Dead and why giving things away built one of the most loyal fan bases in music history (and how you can apply that methodology to your own personal brand.) Psst: If you missed reading it, here's the link, and if you want to listen to the podcast version of that story, you can listen to it here. I've been thinking about that email a lot since I sent it, mostly because of how many of you replied with your own music stories. One person told me about driving four hours to see a band because of a burned cd. Another sent me a photo of their dad's ticket stubs from the 70s. I did not expect my inbox to become a tiny music history archive, but I love it, in fact I love every time you reply to these! So today, in the spirit of "give it away, build community"... I'm just going to ask you directly. Are these emails still earning their spot in your inbox? If you love to read them now and then, hit reply and tell me what you're working on right now in your business, your brand, or your next big idea. I'd love to know because I am always fine-tuning my content to what is relevant to you right now. There are no wrong answers. I would love to know what you are up to so I can bring you more of it. I read every reply.
