Hey, Selling used to feel icky to me. You too? I assumed selling was a bad thing and everyone thought of it this way. I realize now that was partially because of the stories I told myself about money and what money does to people. We can talk about that another time. But this is why I have spent a lot of time and education on learning how to help my clients get through these same mindset shifts. I want you to have wealth, but most of all, a life full of joy that you love. Recently, I interviewed my friend Samantha Hearne on my podcast and we talked all about sales strategy. 3 things that might shift how you feel about sales: >> You are the solution. Before you sell anything, you have to own the fact that your work solves a real problem. That clarity makes showing up and making offers feel aligned. It feels awkward to talk about something you can't OWN. You might be battling imposter syndrome and that's ok, but know this is one of the first steps. >> Stop talking about what it is, start talking about what it does. Your audience doesn’t need another masterclass or framework, but they do need a reason to care. Focus on outcomes. Why would they care? What do they need to face within themselves to buy what you sell? >> Visibility matters, but man-oh-man, so does consistency. A trending reel won’t change your business. But showing up with intention over time, in person, online, and everywhere else is a fool proof way to build trust and convert without pushy tactics. If you’re a coach, consultant, or service provider who wants to simplify your approach to sales, this episode may be a breath of fresh air. Let me know your favorite takeaway—I’d love to hear it.
